6203 vaccinated in state till Feb 4

A total of 179 beneficiaries were vaccinated in Dimapur, Mokokchung, Wokha and Peren on Thursday by Covishield vaccine taking the total vaccinated tally to 6203 in the state. 

In a press release, state immunization officer (UPI) Dr. Ritu Thurr said that a total of 44 frontline workers other than the healthcare workers have been vaccinated in Peren and Phek. Dr.Thurr said that no adverse events have been reported that needed medical intervention till date. 

Nearly 4.5 million (44,49,552) beneficiaries have received COVID-19 vaccine shots in merely 19 days, the Union Health Ministry said on Thursday. 

In a span of 24 hours, 3,10,604 people were vaccinated across 8,041 sessions, it said.
