Religious places in State allowed to have 100 pc capacity

The state government has allowed religious place/place of worship to operate with 100% capacity with immediate effect subject to adherence to COVID appropriate behaviour.

In an order, principal secretary home Abhijit Sinha stated that in partial modification of June 10, 2020 order, regarding opening of religious places/places of religious worship; Para 3 (i) of the aforesaid order shall be read as: “The number of persons to be allowed in any religious place/place of worship is up to 100% of the capacity of that building/place, subject to adherence to COVID appropriate behaviour such as wearing of mask and hand sanitization.” 

The order would come into force with immediate effect with the remaining conditions/provisions of the order remaining unchanged.
