ADC and administrator Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC), Shashank Pratap Singh on February 13 flagged off sanitation vehicle at Sungkomen ward, Mokokchung after it was dedicated by Sungkomen Baptist Church pastor, Rev. O Yashi Jamir.
On the occasion, Shashank lauded the ward authority and church for purchasing the sanitation vehicle, which will be beneficial to the community.
He termed the initiative as a perfect example of community efforts towards cleanliness and was optimistic that others would follow suit. The function was chaired by Sungkomen ward authority chairman, Limanungsang.
