
New Reserve Youth Organisation (NRYO) has appealed to the All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) and New Reserve Taxi Association (NRTA) to revoke the existing fare which was earlier fixed by Regional Transport Authority (RTA) in the month of September, 2020 in view of the pandemic.
A press release by NRYO through its president, Vikuosalie Zashumo and general secretary, Rokono Chutso has appealed to the associations that with normal life resumed in all fronts, the concerned taxis plying between New Reserve to BOC taxi stand (vice versa) which currently carry three occupants at Rs. 50 per head to be revoked back to Rs. 30, increasing the occupancy to four per taxi.
The appeal was put forward by the office with positive faith in order to look into the grievances of the passengers since majority were school going children and common people.
