NCRCS Dmu new church building inaugurated

The new church building of Nagaland Christian Revival Church Sumi (NCRCS) Dimapur was inaugurated on Sunday, opposite to veterinary office, Burma camp. 

The church was dedicated by NCRC Sumi, Dimapur youth pastor A Kayepu Assumi and the monolith and inaugural programme was presided over by ES, NCRC Sumi Hq Pughoboto, Rev. Vitoka Kinni. 

Addressing the congregation, NCRC Sumi ES Rev. Vitoka Kinni shared on the importance of seeking God’s blessing. He cited the example of Solomon, and asked the congregation to seek the Lord to guide them, lead them and bless them as He has blessed Solomon. 

He said that God has bless the Church and therefore, it was time for them to repent, humble oneself and come before Him and be blessed.  

Brief highlight of the construction report was delivered by Church construction board chairman, Kuhoi Zhimo wherein he informed that the total amount of land acquisition and church building expenses till February 19, 2021cost Rs. 4.81 crore, the total amount of budget and donation received comprises of Rs 2.5 crore and overall total amount of donation received comprises of Rs 57 lakhs. The church has a seating capacity of 1400 approximately. 

At the programme, invocation prayer was said by Z Savito Chophy, welcome address was delivered by NCRC Sumi Dimapur pastor Rev. Ahoshe K Chophy, greetings message was delivered by NCRC Sumi council chairman Jambo Sema. 

Special number was presented by NCRCS choir and “An instrument of thy peace” was presented by Vini Assumi, Inakali Kiba and Omekali Chishi. 

Later, vote of thanks was delivered by church construction board member, Khehoshe Aye.
