Painting, essay competitions on ‘plastic free’ in Tuensang

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) and Administrator Tuensang Town Council (TTC), Tuensang, Ajit Kumar Verma, has informed that there will be inter-school painting and essay competitions on February 23, at Government Higher Secondary school, Thangjam, to promote plastic free sensitizing campaign in educational institutions. 

According to DIPR, painting competition will be held under the theme “Plastic free schools/Tuensang town” for classes 6 to 8, while essay competition will be held under the theme “Challenges and measures to make our town plastic free”, for classes 9 and 10. 

It further informed that only two participants for each category from one school were allowed to participate and that all necessary material required for above mentioned competitions such as sketch pens, chart papers, writing pens and papers etc. would be provided at the venue. 

All Schools under Tuensang town have been requested to inform and encourage students for participation and submit names and details of the participants by February 22 and further details can be contacted at 9862569975.
