A rice mill building under cooperation department was inaugurated by deputy commissioner, Peren, Sentiwapang Aier at Mhainamtsi village on March 1.
While citing the success stories of Amul Dairy and Lijjat Papad, DC Peren also encouraged the cooperative society members and reminded them to uphold the values and principles of cooperatives and work together for the economic upliftment of the members in particular and the public in general. The programme was chaired by ARCS & chief project officer Peren, Temjen Ao, invocation and dedication of rice mill building and machineries was done by Mhainamtsi Village Baptist Church, pastor Kentippe.
Short speech was delivered by chairman of Hepui MPCS Ltd, Asing Haining and vote of thanks by SRCS & development officer, Zasevituo Angami.
