AR organise weapons display for NCC

NCC cadets of Kohima group witnessed weapon display organised by 1 Assam Rifles Lushai battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) at Kohima on February 26.

According to 24 Nagaland (I) Coy NCC, Kohima, instructors of 1 Assam Rifles Lushai battalion explained about various weapons of the Indian Army to the cadets. 
The release stated that the display motivated a number of cadets to take up the armed forces as a career.
On behalf of Brig. K Venugopal, SM, group commander Kohima NCC group, Col Daniel Lotzem commander officer, 24 Nagaland (I) Coy NCC, Kohima expressed gratitude to commanding officer, Col UC Sati and all ranks of 1 Assam Rifles Lushai battalion for their services during the display.
Commanding officer of 1 Naga girls, Col AH Khan along with NCC officer and 200 NCC cadets (approx) from both senior division of 24 Nagaland (I) Coy and senior wings of 1 Naga Girls Bn of Kohima NCC group witnessed the weapon display.
