BS&G conducts workshop on FBM-ABC & OYM registration

Bharat Scouts& Guides (BS&G) Wokha organised a workshop on “free being me–action body confidence” (FBM-ABC) and online youth membership (OYM) at WDVDBA & WDVCCA multipurpose building on February 25.

A press release by BS&G Wokha stated that during the workshop, BS&G state coordinator, Imlikala elucidated the concept to the participants while refuting that potential people could not partake in the society due to the influence of technological advancement and modern gadgets. She further asserted that the workshop would immensely boost body confidence and support children and young people to advocate on body confidence issues in the community. 215 scouts & guides and 30 unit leaders attended the workshop and OYM registrations for unit leaders were also organized. 

Meanwhile, Asst. DEO, Ngusazolie Rhetso was inducted as new district chief commissioner BS&G Wokha by SOC (S) Nagaland, John Tonchimong in an induction programme held at the DC’s official chamber followed by discussion and meeting with state officials.

Earlier, BS&G state organising commissioner (G), Vimezhou Tetso highlighted the activities undertaken by state BS&G and added that FBM-ABC should be inculcated in the age group of 7–14 and 11-25 years of age. 

Further, DC and district president BS&G Wokha, Orenthung Lotha encouraged the association to do their best in disseminating and instilling the ideas in children. The induction programme was presided by chairperson LEH-cum-VP BS&G Wokha, Zuchobeni Ezung and introduction of state & district officials by ADOC (S) T. Zuchanthung Lotha.
