DGC holds extension activity

Department of History, Dimapur Government College (DGC) organized a one-day extension activity with the theme “Teach and motivate” at Eden Higher Secondary School (EHSS) Dimapur on March 6.

At the event, the department of History donated books to the school library and conducted career guidance and teacher orientation program. 

Resource person, associate professor, HOD History department, Meripeni Ngully spoke on “Discovering one’s potential: Making the right choices” (target group class 12). Asst professor,  Ningshijungla Longchar spoke on “Opportunities beyond academic excellence” (target group class 10 & 11 students).  

Asst.professor, Vivi Swu spoke on “Teaching Skills for enhancing teaching-learning experience”  (target group teachers). 

Short sharing of their teaching experience was given by asst. Professor, Lily Rino and motivational speech and words of encouragement was shared by asst. professor, Asen; asst professor, Supong; asst. Professor, Bokali Shohe and asst.professor, Niesenuo Apon.
