
State deputy chief minister, Y Patton has congratulated the new team of Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) elected for the tenure 2021-2023.
Patton said that NSF had always been vocal for the welfare of the student community since its inception and that it also played a proactive role representing students in crucial issues.
Patton on behalf of the state BJP legislators wished a fruitful and successful tenure to the new team led by its president Kegwahun Tep and hoped that they would shoulder the responsibilities of the student community with sincerity, while carrying forward the visions of the pioneers.
Meanwhile, Eastern Naga Students’ Association (ENSA) congratulated the newly elected NSF office bearers.
In a press release, ENSA president Nokpai Konyak and general secretary Kailong Lainong hoped that the new team would stand to build the bridge of unity, cooperation and walk together across “artificial boundary lines and to proclaim firmly our birth right to the East-West-North-South of Naga habited areas”.
ENSA prayed and hoped that the new dynamic leaders of NSF would also bring the light to change Naga society as a whole through democratic and peaceful coexistence of Nagas as one.
