Dept. of Sericulture bids farewell to officer

Department of Sericulture organised a farewell programme in honour of Wabang Lemtur, who retired as director of Sericulture, at the directorate conference hall, Kohima on April 30.

At the programme, short speech was delivered by commissioner and secretary, department of Sericulture, Orenpomo Kikon.
Kikon congratulated Wabang for his selfless service rendered to the department and requested him to continue to help the department in the coming days. 
In his farewell speech, Wabang thanked God for giving him good health and guidance till his last day in the department. He also thanked the officers and staff for their hard work and support while he was discharging his duties.  Incoming director of Sericulture, T.Sanny Pongener on behalf of the department thanked the outgoing director for his dedicated and able leadership for completion of many infrastructure works.
