
State-owned oil marketing companies (OMCs) decreased the prices of petrol and diesel on Tuesday after a four-day halt. Prices of the petrol declined in the range of 22-19 paise while diesel prices were reduced by 21-23 paise across the country.
In Delhi, petrol was sold for Rs 90.56 per litre and price of diesel was Rs 80.87, down 23 paise from Monday’s level.
In Dimapur, price of petrol dropped to Rs.89.59 litre while diesel price declined to Rs.83.11 per litre.
In the state capital Kohima, prices of petrol and diesel after Tuesday’s rate revision stood at Rs.90.50 Rs.83.84 per litre respectively. Retail fuel prices had last declined on March 25. Petrol and diesel prices were last revised upwards on February 27 and post that the prices were largely unchanged ahead of the state polls.
