CMO Dimapur launches D+WA

Chief medical officer (CMO), Dr. Mereninla Senlem launched the “Dimapur HIV positive Women Association (D+WA)” at Tourist Lodge Dimapur on March 27.

A press release by chairman PNF, Joe Ngamkhuchung stated that the launching function was attended by 70 positive women members of the association.
Along with the CMO, deputy CMO, Dr. Antoly Swu, Nukshila Aying, president Dimapur Baptist Women Union, Kitoshi Zhimomi, president Rotary Club Dimapur  were present and encouraged the participants to work together without fear.   
Sisters from Chavra Home, delegates from Akimbo society, Bethesda Youth welfare centre, Guardian Angel and Prodigals Home also graced the occasion.
It may be mentioned that People in Need Foundation (PNF) which initiates and promotes the positive women association arranged hand sanitisers masks for the participants. 
Meanwhile, chairman PNF presented a packet of covid personal protection equipment (PPE) containing 26 sets to the CMO. 
70 positive women who were present for the function consented to be members of the association.
