Health camp at Kigwema

Reproductive child health camp and general health camp was conducted at Kigwema village on March 27 at Kigwema village council hall with former director, health & family welfare (H&FW) department, Dr. Neiketou as special guest.

According to DIPR report, while speaking at the programme, Dr. Neiketou said that the health camp was required as medical treatment had nowadays become expensive and not all could avail treatment.
Meanwhile at the camp, villagers availed free checkup and medicines.
An acknowledgment programme for complete immunisation and ante-natal check-up (ANC) was also held.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by PHC medical officer Kimipfuphe, Dr. Loziu Peseyie and short speeches were delivered by ADC Kohima, Shaying Sheu, Dr. Rupert Peseyie CMO, Kohima and village council chairman.
12 doctors, nurses and government officials attended the camp which was organised by District Health Society (DHS) Kohima.
