Dimapur Sumi Students’ Union (DSSU) has appealed to the power department for an uninterrupted power supply in Dimapur in the view of the ongoing HSLC/HSSLC examinations. Keeping in mind the instability of current power supply in Dimapur, DSSU president L. Kivipu Shohe and general secretary N. Mugha Aye stated that the outage of power for most of the hours in a day for the past few days since the commencement of the HSLC/HSSLC examinations were hampering the exam preparations of thousands of students which may impose negative impact on their future career.
The union requested the department to kindly take note of students’ grievances for the students’ community and stabilise the supply of regular electricity as soon as possible. Further, DSSU wished the very best to all the candidates for their remaining exams.
