Chophimi Kuposhukulu (CK), celebrated its silver jubilee at Agri Expo convention hall on April 8 on the theme “Amikucho no Nimheghi” with principal accountant general (A&E) Nagaland, Pitoho Chophi as chief guest and Dokhuvi Chophi as guest of honour.
A press release by CK stated that in his message Pitoho Chophi lauded CK on completing 25 years of existence.
He added that that good works began from the family first and encouraged members of the clan to continue doing good to each other.
He urged the gathering to be united and called upon the members to respect one another in order to foster strong relations within the clan in particular and others in general.
In his speech, guest of honour Dokhuvi Chophi reflected on the works of pioneers and credited the pioneering leaders on being able to celebrate the joyous occasion.
He encouraged the members to strive for spiritual growth and expressed great satisfaction and happiness on the occasion of the silver jubilee celebration.
Sumi Baptist Church Kohima (SBCK) senior pastor, Rev. Dr. Hokheto Chophi shared the word of God on the occasion of jubilee.
Rev. Ahoto Chophi led the gathering in the candle light service, signifying celebration of 25 years of existence while NCRC Dimapur pastor, Rev. Ahoshe Chophi released the jubilee souvenir.
ADM (LIC) Jorhat, Akato T chophi chaired the programme while invocation was led by SBC Valley View Pastor, Rev. Avito Chophi.
Meanwhile, organising committee convenor, Tokiho D Chophi delivered welcome address and vote of thanks by program committee convenor, Er. Kughaho Chophi.
The new team of office bearers will be led by Er. Kughaho Chophi as chairman along with several other executives. Satakha Baptist Church pastor, Rev. Kughato Chophi invoked blessings upon the new team of office bearers.
