JYO volleyball tourney underway

The 6th Japukong Youth Organisation (JYO) volleyball tournament was inaugurated by Dr.Benjongliba Aier, parliamentary secretary, CAWD & Taxes at Yajang ‘C’ village on January 4. 
In his inaugural speech, Dr. Aier called on the youth of Japukong range to work together to face the challenges ahead. While emphasizing on the importance of unity, he said, “sustainable development rests on the principle of unity that meets the needs of the present, without compromising the ability of future generation to meet their own needs by integrating environmental health, economic profitability and social and economic equity.”
Dr. Aier further encouraged the youth to be sincere, punctual and to avoid all the evil vices in order to build up their physical and spiritual life.  Altogether, 24 teams are participating in the tournament.
