KSU organises 42nd general conference

Kiruphema Students’ Union (KSU) 42nd general conference was held on Thursday at Peducha village council hall, Kiruphe Peducha.
A press release by Kiruphema Students’ Union stated that conference speaker, assistant chief technical officer (Plant Protection), Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Mokokchung, Dr. Ruopfiiselhou Kehie, stressed on the need to protect and promote the rich culture and tradition of the Nagas.
He called upon the students to make the best use of social networking platform, adding that random use of social media was likely to cause harm instead of bringing positive impact.
Further, Dr. Ruopfiiselhou challenged the students to give due attention to the area of their interest and take a bold step to face any competitive examinations. 
Kohima Science College Jotsoma, associate professor, Rokovikho Hesielie, also spoke at the valedictory service while Service Association Kiruphema, president, Kevichatha Suohumvii, exhorted the gathering.
Meanwhile, Kiruphema Students’ Union elected its new team of office bearers for the tenure 2018-2020 with Vikosato Visienyii as president.
