NGBF appeals GBs to coordinate with administration

With the State government emphasizing on community surveillance  and Covid-19 management in rural areas, the  Nagaland Gaon Bura Federation (NGBF) has urged all the GBs of Nagaland to take care of their villages, colonies and work in coordination with the administration.

In a press release, NGBF president Shalem Konyak, general secretary Shikuto Zalipu and media secretary Akhu Naga also appealed to the state government and all responsible to continue to work with sincerity till situation normalised.  Affirming to always stand for the welfare of the people, the NGBF prayed that the pandemic get over soon. 
Meanwhile, the federation has expressed appreciation and gratitude to the state government, medical team, police department, DMC, Churches, NGOs and all responsible individuals for tirelessly rendering services to the needy including COVID-19 patients and weaker sections of the society. 
NGBF also expressed joy at the services rendered by GB union (Sadar) and Dimapur chairman federation towards the citizens. “Our contributions towards humanity at this juncture shall be of immense important. It is very encouraging to see our citizens concerns for each others,” NGBF stated.
It asserted that the “unimaginable situations” that were being faced today would be history tomorrow. 
Stating that many prominent leaders and important personalities have been lost during this pandemic, the NGBF has conveyed condolences to the bereaved families.
