Various organisations extend condolences

The Chakhesang Youth Front (CYF) has expressed grief over the demise of its vice president, Vetsürayi Tetseo who passed away on Saturday at Pfutsero.

In a condolence note, CYF president Lhuvesayi Lohe and general secretary Nyitso Therie said that CYF was fortunate to have worked with him and to be able to see what a great man he was.

CYF said that late Vetsürayi Tetseo was serving as its vice president from 2018-till date for two consecutive tenure and dedicated his life for the society in general and CYF in particular.

It also said that he was the pillar of CYF, who stood tall and firm in challenging situations and that the front would never forget his achievements and contributions.

Describing late Vetsürayi Tetseo as a man of principle, dignity, a vibrant personality, torch bearer, a philanthropist and a farsighted visionary leader, CYF said that it had lost a budding leader from its community and would be difficult to find someone of his quality. 

Further, the organisation conveyed its condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that the Almighty would grant solace to the bereaved family.

WCH: Western Chakesang Hoho (WCH) has mourned the demise of Vetsürayi Tetseo. 

In a condolence note, its president Dietho Rhakho and joint secretary Zasekhoyi Ringa said that WCH was deeply pained over the demise of an upcoming dynamic and active leader, whose contributions and sacrificial services were immense. It said that his selfless service was very evident to people through his active participation and creating awareness on HIV for the past many years. He also served as committee secretary at Pfutsero town and assisted the Covid management team during the pandemic. 

Further, WCH conveyed its deepest sympathies to the bereaved family members.

NPF Phek division: NPF Phek division has expressed grief over the untimely demise of Vetsürayi Tetseo.

In a condolence note, NPF Phek division president Wepe Mekrisuh described late Vetsürayi Tetseo as a “very bold dedicated and diligent upcoming young leader from Chakhesang community”. It said that in his demise, the people had lost a promising leader.

NPF Phek division conveyed their condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed that God would grant them solace in time of great pain and sorrow.

CWA: The Chakhesang Wrestling Association (CWA) described late Vetsürayi as an honest, dedicated and humble leader and that the people had lost “another jewel in a span of few weeks time”.

In a condolence note, its president Vekhozo and general secretary Kuzhovesa Soho said that his contributions towards the Chakhesang community and youth front in particular would be cherished in the days to come.

The CWA while sharing its grief with all the family members and loved ones prayed that the Almighty would provide them comfort.

CHK: Chakhesang Hoho Kohima (CHK) while expressing grief over the sudden demise of Vetsürayi Tetseo described him as a person who was known for his honesty, humbleness and dedication towards community service.

In a condolence note, its president Theja Therieh and general secretary Sakhohu Vadeo said that in his demise, the people had lost another young upcoming and promising leader.

Further, the CHK conveyed its condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed that God would grant them comfort at this time of sorrow.

WCYO: West Chakhesang Youth Organisation (WCYO) said in a condolence note through its president Likalo Letro and general secretary Surhota Yhobu said that the pain of losing him was difficult to bear because the community needed him for more years.

WCYO said that he accomplished many good things in life, worked hard and always followed the path of honesty.

Further, WCYO prayed that the comforter would grant solace to the bereaved family members at this sad time of mourning.  

WSYF: Western Sumi Youth Front (WSYF) while expressing grief over the sudden demise of Vetsürayi Tetseo said that he was a peace loving, zestful and a young dynamic leader whose demise was a great loss not only for the Chakhesang community but the Nagas in general.

WSYF through its media cell said that the front shared its sympathies with the Chakhesang community and conveyed its deepest condolences to the bereaved family.

NSCN (I-M): NSCN (I-M) has expressed grief over the demise of former Sumi Hoho president, Vitoqhe Assumi who also served as a political advisor of the Naga Hoho. In a condolence note through its MIP, NSCN (I-M) said that late Vitoqhe was a man who stood for the common goal and a united Naga family.

While extending deep sorrow for having lost a great leader, NSCN (I-M) said that the “Naga nation” extended its deepest sympathies to the bereaved family members of (and his close friends and that the Almighty would give them the strength and comfort to bear the loss.

NSCN (I-M) ato kilonser, Th. Muivah has expressed grief over the demise of Runmila A Shishak, deputy kilonser (W/o Maj. Retd. Reingachan A Shishak, deputy kilonser) from Shangshak Khullen village under Wung Tangkhul Region (WTR), who passed away on May 28.

In a condolence note, Muivah said that she joined the “Naga national service” in 1988 with full conviction and commitment and was inducted as a deputy kilonser in the year 2017.

He also said that she served in various capacities and executed them in her best knowledge of all concerned. “The legacy she left behind shall be cherished by all in all times” and “the vacuum created after her demise can never be filled”, Muivah said. 

Further, on behalf of the “Naga nation”, Muivah conveyed his sympathies to the bereaved family members.

Meanwhile, the National Socialist Women’s Organisation Nagalim (NSWON) while expressing grief over the demise of late Runmila A Shishak said that she served the “Naga nation” with unwavering patriotism until her demise.

In a condolence note, NSWON chairperson Hosheli Achumi said that her sacrifices for the “Naga nation” would be cherished by all and the NSWON paid homage to the departed soul.

Further, NSWON conveyed their condolences to her bereaved family members.
