Nagaland on Friday reported 147 fresh Covid-19 positive cases while 12 more patients succumbed to the infection.
Among the fresh cases, 53 were reported from Dimapur, Kohima-47, Tuensang-19, Mon-10, five each from Phek and Zunheboto, four from Mokokchung, two from Longleng and one each from Peren and Wokha, taking the total caseload to 22,387
Out of the 12 fatalities, five were from Kohima, three from Dimapur, two from Mokokchung and one each from Mon and Zunheboto, taking the death toll to 416 out of which 14 were non-Covid deaths but with Covid positivity.
PTI: India reported 1,32,364 new Covid cases taking the country’s total tally to 2,85,74,350, while the recovery rate crossed 93 per cent, according to the Union health ministry data updated on Friday.
The Covid-19 death toll climbed to 3,40,702 with 2,713 fresh deaths, while the active cases were recorded below 20 lakh for the fourth consecutive day, the data updated at 8 am showed.
