Nagaland NewsNNPGs WC greetings

NNPGs WC greetings

Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs) Working Committee had extended warm greetings to the people of Nagaland on the occasion of Christmas. In a message, the Working Committee convener, N. Kitovi Zhimomi said Christmas was a season of joy, a time to embrace peace and goodwill among man. He pointed out that God sent His only son in flesh for the atonement of our sins, adding that the birth of baby Jesus, the Messiah, fulfilled the promise of God for humanity.
Zhimomi said this was a season in which the joy of giving and the gratefulness in receiving was expressed by one and all. And as the world celebrated birth of the Messiah, it wished that the childlike spirit prevailed in every home in villages and towns across Nagaland.
While extending warm festive greetings to all Naga brothers and sisters, Naga friends and well wishers far and near, the Working Committee said love and mercy of God our Almighty had been manifest in the collective existence of our people. It hoped that this beautiful festive season ushered in renewed hope and commitment in everyone’s hearts for “our beloved Nagaland”. The committee said it believed that God’s promise to Naga people would be fulfilled eventually because it had trust on His mighty power.
“The Glory of God Almighty has been visible in our efforts to make the Government of India understand the position of the Naga people. It is God alone who has enabled the NNPG leaders to make their position clear on the political front and it is God’s wisdom alone which the NNPG leaders will seek to fulfil the visions of our forefathers,” the message added.
The Working Committee said this was a mammoth task and appealed to the people for co-operation and prayer support.
