State BJP observes good governance day

To honour the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee which falls on December 25, the state BJP observed Good Governance Day on December 27, at Dimapur, organized by the Good Governance Committee (GGC) of state BJP. 
A press release by state BJP media cell stated that Imtilemba Sangtam spoke about the development and challenges of the party and the government in the past, the present circumstances and the prospects that lie ahead. Dr. M.Chuba, former state president speaking on the topic “Good Governance of BJP-led NDA Government” presented a detailed account of the performance of the NDA government. He said it was the BJP government under former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee who recognized Naga political issue as “unique” and steadfastly undertook every possible measures to find a solution. James Vizo, convenor, media cell speaking on the topic “Projects and Schemes of BJP-led NDA Government” highlighted some of the important schemes of the BJP-Led NDA government and described how the scheme have been implemented in all states including Nagaland. 
Earlier in the programme chaired by state general secretary, Jaangsillung Gonmei, invocation was pronounced by state executive member, Vikheli and welcome speech by GGC convenor S. T. Sangtam. Dr. Temsuwati, co-convenor GGC gave the vote of thanks.
