NSCN (I-M) mourns member’s demise

NSCN (I-M) chairman, Q Tuccu has expressed grief over the demise of steering committee member Thrunyicho Sangtam, under United Sangtam Region (USR) NSCN.

In a condolence note, Tuccu said that it was a profound loss not only for his family and Sangtam community but for the NSCN in general. 

Describing him as a stalwart “national worker” who never failed in his assigned duties, the NSCN (I-M) chairman said that he was reminded of Thrunyicho’s determined contribution over many decades to the struggle for freedom.

Tuccu said that late Thrunyicho was a man with great principle, who was committed to the cause of freedom of Nagalim and that he served the “nation” wholeheartedly without any reservation. 

He said that NSCN had lost a “beloved son and an outstanding patriot” and prayed that the bereaved family members would be able to draw some comfort from the many heartfelt tributes that have been paid to the departed soul. 

NSCN (I-M) steering committee: NSCN (I-M) steering committee convenor Ashiho Asoumai has expressed sadness over the demise of Thrunyicho Sangtam.

In a condolence note, steering committee convenor described Thrunyicho as a dedicated man who loved the Naga nation and displayed patriotic spirit till his last. “He gave his service for the Naga nation from the year 2008 and served the nation till the last moment of his life”, Asoumai said.

NSCN (I-M) steering committee extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and his close friends and prayed that God would take care of them and comfort them at this hour of grief.

ENNWU: Mourning the demise of Thrunyicho Sangtam, the Eastern Naga National Workers Union (ENNWU) said that in his demise, they have lost a great leader, who was always ready to sacrifice for the cause of “Naga nation”.

It said that during his service to the “Naga nation”, he trusted the leadership of the NSCN till his last breath and that the void created by his departure would be hard to fill.

Further, the ENNWU conveyed its deepest condolences to the bereaved family members.

NSCN (I-M) USR: The United Sangtam Region (USR) of the NSCN (I-M) has expressed grief over the demise of its leader, Thrunyicho Sangtam.

In a condolence note, CAO, USR, Thronglise Sangtam said that he was a true patriot and a man of word, who was true to his word.

In his demise, the USR said it has lost a capable and God-fearing leader, adding that the void left by his demise would be difficult to fill.

Further, the USR conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members.
