Mon police apprehended one person on charges of possessing 60 cases of IMFL (MC Rum) on June 9. According to Mon police PRO, the accused identified as one Kumar Chatri, presently residing at Rajgarh, Assam, was apprehended while he was proceeding from Sonari, Assam to Mon town in a Bolero pick-up (AS06 BC 8920). In this connection, a case was registered with Mon PS under NLTP Act, PRO said, adding that further investigation was in progress.
