District election officer and deputy commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K has informed that the second round of awareness and demonstration of electronic voting machines (EVMs) and voter verifiable Paper Audit trial (VVPATs) will be conducted in all the villages under Mon district from January 8 to 12, 2018. Detailed schedule for the said campaign is currently being worked out. DC Mon has requested all the returning officers (ROs), assistant returning officers (AROs) and sector magistrates to strictly supervise and monitor the smooth conduct of awareness and demonstration under their respective jurisdiction.
