Dimapur Sümi Student’s Union (DSSU) held its first online literary competition 2021 in the various disciplines such as essay writing, poem writing slogan writing and painting.
In a press release, DSSU informed that many students took part in the competition which was categorised into three sections – high school, higher secondary and degree students.
The union informed that in essay writing, the first position was bagged by Mughakali, UNB-B Sumi saa Kiphimi Küqhakulu (M.sc 2nd semester NEHU) while Ledina Sumi (Class-10) of Rincho Academy bagged the second position. The winner of the poem competition was Vilibo Chishi (B.A 6th semester) Tetso College and Tikhepu Muru (B.A 2nd semester) Unity College secured the second position. Tonoka V Zhimo (class 10) Little Star Higher Secondary School bagged the first position in slogan writing while Kihikali H Zhimomi (class-7) Holy Child School bagged the second position. Toka Khujumi (class-8) Livingstone Foundation Higher Secondary School was declared the winner of the painting competition while Tolo K Awomi (class-4) Niu-colony Sumi Kiphimi Küqhakulu bagged the second position.
