
A blood donation camp organised by Voluntary Blood Donors Association (VBDA) Kohima in collaboration with Assam Rifles Nagaland chapter and supported by Blood Bank Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK) concluded Saturday.
A press release by VBDA Kohima informed that the blood donation camp commenced on June 14 commemorating “World Blood Donors Day”.
VDBA said due to pandemic the demand for blood has been higher than the previous years.
The association informed that despite COVID-19 lockdown, 31 voluntary blood donors donated their blood during the week-long donation camp.
Meanwhile, the association has invited those interested to enrol themselves as voluntary blood donors.
