DC Kohima informs on damage compensation

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie has informed concerned landowners that damage compensation for Kohima – Jessamitwo-lane project would be paid in the office of DC Kohima starting June 21. According to DIPR report, DC Kohima has informed that the payment would be made under the package and chainage numbers as following: Package -1 (Ch 7+880 – Ch 29/600 = 21,800 kms) from June 21 to June 23 at 10 a.m.; package – 2 (Ch 29+600 – Ch. 37+100 = 7500 Kms) on June 24 and June 25 at 10 a.m.

The DC has informed the landowners to be present physically and to submit four recent passport size photos (not to scan) and aadhaar card (photocopy)/ID proof and bank passbook (front page photocopy).
 Further the DC has informed that payment to any other representative other than the concerned person shall not be entertained. All beneficiaries have been requested to maintain the laid down Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) issued by the government.
