No concrete instance of demand on Covid fund: SH, SKH

Following the allegations of NSCN factions demanding a share from COVID-19 funds at civil hospital Zunheboto, the Sumi Hoho (SH) and Sumi Kukami Hoho (SKH) said they made enquiries from all possible sources to ascertain the facts regarding allegations.

In a joint press statement, SH president Hekhushe Shikhu, general secretary Nikheto Jimo, finance secretary Hokishe Kiba and SKH president Kashito Yepthomi have, however, said that on inquiry “no concrete instance of demand on Covid fund was established from any groups.”

The two hohos said it was thus concluded that “some miscreants might have made rampant demands by impersonating various factions.”

Therefore, the Sumi Hoho and its frontal organisations have appealed to all responsible to restrain from making further statements and allegations in connection with the issue.

Further, the signatories said that one could intimate them if the need for any clarifications arose.
