Business Association of Nagas (BAN) held its annual general meeting and induction of new office bearers and executive members on July 31 at Hotel Seb Tower, Dimapur.
In a press release, BAN media cell informed that the new team would be led by managing director of Symbios Creations Pvt. Ltd. Mongkum Jamir as president; proprietor of Pristine Foods Er. Puteu Phesao as vice president; Dr. Yan Murry CEO of Pinnacle Skills as general secretary and proprietor of Urban Jungle major (Retd.) Vikuto Asumi as joint secretary.
Speaking at the meeting, outgoing president Vitho Zao thanked his team for their support. Though hampered by the pandemic, he said BAN had taken up many initiatives especially helping local farmers and fighting against illegal taxation.
Convener of the selection committee, Dr. Aotoshi said that BAN should help develop a business-friendly entrepreneurial ecosystem for Nagas adding that the new team has been selected keeping that in mind.
In his speech, incoming president, Mongkum Jamir said BAN has to work transparently with honesty and that the one should not be part of the association to take “credit” but the motivation should be to work on reforms based on the values on BAN.
Jamir thanked the outgoing president and his team for the various initiatives and for setting high standards.
The outgoing general secretary’s report was presented by Dr LanusanglaTzudir while Pastor Alemsunep of World Impact Community Church Dimapur said a prayer for the new team.
