Nagaland State Consumer Helpline would be launched on December 24, coinciding with National Consumers’ Day.
A press release by Nagaland Voluntary Consumers’ Organisation president, advocate, Kezhokhoto Savi, stated that Nagaland State Consumer Helpline would be providing counselling on all products and services and would develop data base information relating to the state. He said the helpline was an alternate consumer dispute redressal mechanism through a toll free telephone No. 1800 – 345 – 3701. The Nagaland State Consumer Helpline situated at D-Block, 2nd Floor, Khonoma Rufuno Building, below NCS’s office, Kohima has been receiving calls from all over the districts as the only Helpline in the state, informed the release.
