Directorate of School Education (DoSE) has informed that it would be organising an online “logo design competition” for government school students in Nagaland for the Nagaland Education Project – The Lighthouse (NECTAR) that aims to improve overall quality of education and transform the education system in Nagaland.
In a press release, DoSE informed that students from classes V to XII of all government schools in Nagaland may participate from where they are based and stand a chance to win prizes such as smart phones for students and school supplies worth 20000 for the school.
Entries for the competition must be based on original idea on of the three themes such as: my dream lighthouse school; my teacher, my companion or my school, home of future leaders and change makers.
Winning entries would be acknowledged by DoSE and the logo used in project related materials both digital and prints created by the department during the project period.
DoSE has encouraged each of the schools to send in minimum three entries compulsorily to ensure equal participation.
Closing date for the submission would be on or before 6 p.m., July 10. No submission after the deadline would be considered.
