CP Dimapur bans sub-conventional aerial platforms

In view of the forthcoming Independence Day Celebration 2021, the Commissioner of Police (CP) Dimapur, Rothihu Tetseo, has prohibited flying of sub-conventional aerial platforms like para-gliders, para-motors, hang gliders, UAVs, UASs, microlight aircrafts, remotely piloted aircrafts, hot air ballons etc. over the jurisdiction of Dimapur district. 

In an order, CP Dimapur Rothihu Tetseo notified that order would come into force with effect from August 4-17, 2021 (both days inclusive) unless withdrawn earlier. CP cautioned that violation would be punishable under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.
