On the occasion of National Doctors’ Day, Nagaland governor RN Ravi expressed sincere gratitude to the doctors and other healthcare professionals for tirelessly and selflessly working to save lives amidst the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic.
In his message, Ravi said doctors and healthcare professionals were doing yeoman service to humanity putting their own lives at high risk and often cut off from their near and dear ones.
Since the Coronavirus outbreak, the governor said many doctors and healthcare professionals have lost their lives in the line of their duty. “I pay my heartfelt tribute to the Corona Martyrs,” Ravi said and wished the medical fraternity all the best.
BJP medical cell: State BJP medical cell expressed gratefulness to healthcare workers on “National Doctors’ Day”, which is celebrated on July 1.
In a message, BJP Nagaland medical cell convenor Akaiho Sema extended best wishes to doctors across the state and said that they had contributed immensely during this pandemic and saved lives sacrificing their own.
The cell appreciated and recognised the hard work of the healthcare workers and support during this difficult time.
LCD: On the occasion of “National Doctors’ Day”, the Lions Club of Dimapur felicitated 10 to 15 district doctors.
In a message, club president Vikash Maheshwari appreciated the hardships faced by doctors in discharging their duties and said that they were “the living God who save people’s lives.”
