
The 6th edition of the “Kingdom Leaders Prayer Breakfast” was held virtually on August 7 on the theme, “unity and revival”.
In a press release, KLPB organisers informed that while leading the prayer breakfast, Rev. Robert Kikon, co-host of KLPB shared on the importance of the meet due to the pressing challenges and the need for revival and unity among all leaders.
He said that they were here to an appointed time, set apart for one purpose: the return to God by coming before His presence in humility, sincerity in prayer, and repentance.
Initiator of overseas Nagas association and founder of leaders arise Nagaland, Rev. L Yimsung appealed to all parties and Naga national political groups to come together for peace.
The virtual breakfast meet saw leaders cutting across various political parties, bureaucrats, student organisations, social organisations including church leaders who led the prayer meet in seeking for God’s forgiveness over the land and the people.
Father’s house worship team, New Win also led a song on unity and revival.
Some of the attendees who took part in leading the prayer breakfast were Dr. Kevichalie Metha, Rev. Moses Murry, Rev. Vevozo Khamo, Ikato Chishi Swu (CNC), Akho Leyri (NPF), Manlang Phom (ENPO), Kitoho S Rotokha (JDU), Vitho Zao (RPP), captain G.K Zhimomi (NPCC), Dr. Hovithal Sothu (TaFMA), commissioner & secretary, water resources Kenilo Apon, Kegwayhun Tep (NSF president), Sepili Sangtam (ENSF president), Shikuto Zalipu (general secretary NGBF), Nribemo Ngullie (general secretary NTC), Elu Ndang (general secretary Naga Hoho), K.T Vilie Theünuo (convenor 14 Tribal Hohos of Nagaland), agriculture production commissioner Y. Kikheto Sema and others.
The kingdom leaders’ prayer breakfast ended with a prayer for peace and prosperity of Nagaland and Nagas beyond borders and “for God to heal our land”.
Leaders prayed for unity, forgiveness, for the youth, media, state legislators, National political groups, Indo Naga politcal talks, mothers, Nagas across the boundaries and in Myanmar and for the suffering entrepreneurs during the pandemic.
