Dialogue on ‘local space conflict & peace building’

A dialogue on “local space conflict resolution and peace building in communities” was organised by Peace Channel on August 5 at Nagamese Baptist Church, Sieuruzha Colony Chumukedima.

A press release by Peace Channel (PC) stated that resource person, project coordinator of PC Veyito Nyekha asserted that living in peace and promoting peace are the individual’s responsibilities as a human entity.
Nyekha also highlighted the need to talk about important issues and causes like personal relationships, sex education, menstruation etc., saying that Nagas seldom talk about these issues, which he said has caused “lack of problem solving and coping skills among the younger generations”.
He said Peace Channel was introducing dialogue as the “contextually fitted tool for conflict resolution and peace building in communities”.
