National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) launched “Khomi Farmers Club” in Upper Khomi village, Phek on December 7. The farmers club was sponsored by NABARD and promoted by NStCB. DDM NABARD Imsunaro emphasised about the core objectives of farmers club programme, its benefits to the village and bankers, its functions and sustainability the club. She also deliberated on bridging the gap between bankers/line departments and villagers. LDM, Birjeet Singh also spoke on the use of banking products and NPAs, while T.Sale dwelled on a better relationship with the villagers through farmers club platform.
