Western Sümi Baptist Akukuhou Küqhakulu (WSBAK) inaugurated a baptistery pool Wednesday at WSBAK Centre, Aküvüto, Thahekhu which was dedicated and unveiled by Rev. Dr. Luhoi Jakha.
A press release by WSBAK stated that Rev. Dr. Luhoi Jakha (102 years old) is one of the pioneers among the Sümi Christian leaders who has served under WSBAK as corresponding secretary (1965 – 1971/ 1973 – 1978), field supervisor (1979 – 1980), WSBAK missionary and served under WSBAK in various capacities.
The inaugural programme was chaired by chaplain WSBAK Centre Church, Kuhoi Chishi; special number was presented by WSBAK center staff; short speech was delivered by Isato L. Jakha son of Rev. Dr. Luhoi Jakha and vote of thanks and blessing prayer was said by WSBAK executive secretary, Rev. Dr. Phughoto Sema and closing by finance secretary, platinum jubilee WSBAK, Rev. Phushito L. Chishi.
