Govt offices, mobile towers to switch to prepaid meters: DoP

State department of Power (DoP) has informed that it would be replacing all the post-paid energy meters with prepaid energy meter in all the government establishments/offices/quarters and mobile tower sites having an installed capacity of 63 kVA and below under the jurisdiction of Dimapur electrical division.

In a press note, executive engineer (elect.) Dimapur electrical division, Y Akito Sema has requested all consumers under the mentioned categories to clear the outstanding power bills and extend cooperation in the process of replacing the energy meters for smooth transition. EE said that the initiative was in continuation of two notifications issued in June and July.
