AR holds meeting with VCs, VGs

Kiphire battalion of Assam Rifles held a meeting with village council members, village guard, police and medical staff from Longmatra village, Kiphire on August 11.

According to PRO HQ IGAR (N), the meeting discussed the importance of mutual support between security forces, village council members and the police to develop a strong network of communication between Assam Rifles and local residents. 

The battalion also held a meeting with village council members and village guards of Pang village, Noklak on the same day to discuss the security situation in wake of Independence Day.

The meeting also focused on motivating the youth to join security forces through CMP registration and SSC recruitment.
