
Principal director, directorate of health & family welfare (H&FW) Nagaland, Dr. Neikhrielie Khimiao launched a web based online Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS) including payroll management system on August 17.
In a press release, Nagaland Health Project (NHP) informed that Dr. Neikhrielie Khimiao emphasised the need for digital tools to make healthcare service delivery more effective in the state, especially in view of the pandemic.
Dr. Neikhrielie also highlighted that Nagaland would be eligible for additional 5-10% of NHM annual budget as per the incentivized plan of the ministry of health and family welfare (MoHFW) with the implementation of the system.
NHRMIS system was developed with the support of the world bank aided NHP as part of its effort to strengthen public healthcare service delivery in the state.
NHP informed that the developed system would be a repository of health human resources and would help health system digitise recording of key HR functions such as training, transfer and promotion.
The HRMIS would also digitise and automate the payroll processing of health HR in the state.
It may be mentioned that the web-based HRMIS could be used by all employees of H&FW, NHM, and NSACS through a web-based MIS or Android application
The link for the integrated HRMIS would be available on www.nagahealth.nagaland.gov.in where each employee could log in the system using unique login ids received through SMS on registered mobile number.
A detailed standard operating process would also be made available on the website and communicated to districts in the coming days, NHP informed.
