ASHAs Mkg training on ‘paediatric care’

Training on “Paediatric care in COVID-19” for Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs) in Mokokchung district commenced on August 18 at Mangkolemba block.

In a press release, chief medical officer (CMO) Mokokchung office informed that the training was for preparedness of any sudden surge of COVID care in the paediatric age group.  

CMO Mokokchung office said the training would be held cluster-wise in the remaining blocks and would conclude on August 30. ASHAs would be trained on the danger signs, surveillance, signs and symptoms of COVID-19 in paediatric age group, prevailing myths related to COVID-19 in children, roles and responsibilities of ASHA in the community. The district trainers include SMOs, MOs, CHOs of different health unit.
