SPP bids farewell to principal

Inauguration of waiting shed and farewell programme for principal, Sainik School Punglwa (SSP), group captain Prasun Basu was held on August 20 at the premises of the school. 

According to a DIPR report, while speaking at the function, the former principal lauded the parents’ association for taking the initiative in constructing the waiting shed.
He reminisced the time he spent with the staff and students of SSP. 
He said that without the support of the parents, the school would not progress.
In his short speech, general secretary, Dr. Haibe emphasised on the contribution towards the development of the school and the welfare of the students by the fromer principal during his stay.
Dr. Haibe also maintained that the good legacy left behind by group captain Prasun Basu would be honoured and extended best wishes to him.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by president, Kiyetoli Chopy Shupao and brief history of waiting shed construction was proposed by Construction board member, Imzuheing Iheilung.
The newly constructed waiting shed was inaugurated by the former principal, group captain Prasun Basu.
