Advisor for department of employment, skill development and entrepreneurship and Zynorique initiative society reviewed the reports and functioning of the District Skill Committee (DSC) at ADC planning conference hall.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of deputy commissioner of Mokokchung, Limawabang Jamir. (Correspondent)
Meanwhile, in Tuensang, the advisor convened a meeting at the conference hall of the deputy commissioner on August 25 with the DSC.
According to a DIPR report, the advisor said that Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) was a centrally sponsored scheme which could address unemployment problems and encouraged the people to take advantage of the scheme.
He exhorted that by encouraging each other with efficient officers in the district, the people could work together towards easing unemployment issues.
In the interactive session, the house discussed on several issues such as job placements after completion of trainings, delay in funding, lack of marketing, lack of common facility centres, lack of nexus between government agencies and private entrepreneurs in working policies lack of convergence in the departments.
Earlier, the meeting was chaired by DC & chairman DSC, Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant.
