DIPR holds farewell programme for officers, staff

Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) on Wednesday organised a farewell programme for retiring officials and staff at the conference hall of IPR Citadel, Kohima.
According to DIPR, the retiring officials and staff are Nungshiwati Ao, Rtd. registrar; Haokhothung, Rtd. Translator; I. Mar, Rtd. driver and Bao, Rtd. driver.
In the programme, director IPR, Limawati Ao shared his association with the retiring officials in different capacities. He described each of them as sincere and straight forward in their assigned duties and said that the service they rendered to the department was commendable. 
Ao also congratulated them for attaining superannuation in good health for which he expressed gratitude to Almighty God. He wished all of them a long, meaningful and prosperous life.
Speaking at the farewell programme, Retd registrar, Nungshiwati Ao, expressed his gratitude to the department for organizing the farewell programme in honour of the retiring officials. 
He said that he was thankful to Almighty God for attaining 35 years of service in good health. He also urged the officials and staff to be sincere and punctual in performing duties.  
The programme was chaired by additional director, Tokishe Z Sema; invocation was pronounced by assistant director, Setsatishu; short speeches were delivered by superintendent, Neilhouzonuo, translator, Chumchano and driver, Mukand while special song was presented Ayimla and friends.
