Nagaland on August 29 recorded 52 fresh Covid-19 positive cases and three deaths.
Of the fresh cases, 16 were from Dimapur, Kohima-15, seven in Mon, five in Phek, four in Zunheboto, three in Mokokchung and two in Wokha, taking the total caseload to 29972.
Further, three more patients succumbed to the virus in Kohima, pushing the death toll to 617 (including 14 non-Covid deaths but with positivity).
PTI: India added 45,083 new coronavirus infections taking the total tally of COVID-19 cases to 3,26,95,030, while active cases registered an increase for the fifth consecutive day, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Sunday.
The death toll has climbed to 4,37,830 with 460 fresh fatalities, according to the data updated at 8 am.
