State logs 40 fresh cases, 2 Covid deaths

Nagaland on September 3 recorded 40 fresh Covid-19 positive cases while two more deaths were reported during the day.

Of the fresh cases, 15 were from Dimapur, Kohima-11, three each in Mokokchung and Phek, two each in Longleng, Peren and Tuensang and one each in Kiphire and Wokha, taking the total caseload to 30244.
Further, Dimapur and Kohima reported one death each, pushing the death toll to 626 (including 14 non-Covid deaths but with positivity).
PTI: With 45,352 people testing positive for Covid, India’s total tally rose to 3,29,03,289, while active cases registered an increase for the third consecutive day, according to Health ministry data updated on Friday.
The death toll climbed to 4,39,895 with 366 fresh fatalities, according to the data updated at 8 am.
