ZRSU shut down offices of telecom service providers

Zunheboto Range Students’ Union (ZRSU) has shut down offices of all telecom service providers (TSPs). This followed as part of the union’s next course of action after its 15-day ultimatum to TSPs to ensure stable network connectivity in Zunheboto ended and the authorities concerned failed to meet its demands.

Earlier, ZRSU had made several appeals and requests to the TSPs to improve their network in Zunheboto, but failed to get any positive response. As such, the union shut down all offices of the service providers in Zunheboto for an indefinite period.

ZRSU further warned the telecom service providers that an “intensive and substantial” course of actions would be initiated against them if they fail to address its demand.
